Ok, so to the title "What if"..... which was said by Mariska in a magazine I believe and I choose that title for several reason, though one sticks out. "What if... I went on my dream vacation to see NYC and what if... I got to see SVU on set on location....?"
I can actually say: "What if.... it all happened.....?"
I was lucky enough (with lots of help from my SVU twitter friends - ladies you know who you are and I owe you bunches...) on the first real day in NYC, to choose finding my way around the subways to find where SVU was filming at the supreme court outside and later on Elk Street outside as well. (I'll post more photos, proberbly when I'm back home in Denmark... I've tons of photos to go through) and Wednesday April 10th. April 10th was actually a very huge big "What if...." for me, since at first my plans had been to go to the other side of Brooklyn Bridge, cross it and find SVU set later on. However as I was on the train I found I was on the wrong line and hoped off.... on the very station I had used for my starting point to find the SVU location. At first I thought I would take the next train and decidede against it and walked to the area where SVU was filming.
The next "What if...." you find your favorite actrees and actors on set on the same day....? Danny, IceT, Kelli and Mariska were all in pressence. So I had made the rigth choice to walk over to the SVU set. As I approached the set, I greeted some people I had spoken with last week and walked closer to set, hopefully with a humble attitude - or shy should I say....
I got to watch both the crew and cast in work and action and I can say I can't wait to see this episode air as it has lost of actions coming up.
I just want to say a huge big thank you to the crew (who must have thought I was well shy, crazy, "what was I doing there") for letting me stick around and the cast (Sorry IceT but you kinda scare me off a bit... know you are a great guy though....), Danny (for the smiles of hello when passing by...sorry to miss you late evning as schedule was running behind), Kelli (gotta admit your dog is totally adorable.....) and Mariska....... What if, she is just as she is in real life, passionate about her part on SVU (as all cast and crew are mind you) and down to earth with the joy of life you rarely find elsewhere. Thank you for taking time for not only one but two photos yesterday. (I can tell the other woman I was with that evening is all over herself for finally getting your autograph and photo with you - she has tried a few times and after suggestion stayed with me to wait to see you - , I offered to take a photo for her which I'll be emailing her once I've done them...I know she is saying a huge thank you too....)
Oh, and Brian....... yes it was me....... ;-)
So "What if......" you were lucky enough to meet your favorite SVU cast? Thank you so much for being around and I am still crossing everything for a season 15....
Please, these photos are private and sharing for sharing..... (more will come up later, though it may not be till I'm back home as I have tons to go through plus a friend is visiting me - who is also a SVU fan...)
P.s. I prefer to be behind the camera and not in front of it...... still way happy for the photos I got....
